اردوPakistani Papers

Urdu Document Translation For Pakistani Marriage, Divorce And Property Records

These are the records families and solicitors send us most. Many are handwritten, stamped or a mix of Urdu and English. Our Urdu legal translation team treats each one with the same patient care.

  • 01

    نکاح نامہ

    Nikahnama Marriage Contract

Many numbered boxes, often filled in by hand. Like any careful certified marriage contract translation, we cover each one, from dower to witnesses, and mark empty boxes as blank.

  • 02

    طلاق نامہ

    Divorce Deed

The written notice of divorce, often sent with the Union Council certificate. Dates of each notice are kept exactly, because UK readers count the days between them.

  • 03

    اقرار نامہ

    Agreement Or Undertaking

Family and business promises typed on stamp paper. We translate the main text, the signatures and the stamp vendor's details printed on the back of the sheet.

  • 04

    حلف نامہ

    Affidavit

A sworn written statement, often attested by an oath commissioner. The attestation stamp and the commissioner's name are translated along with the statement itself.

  • 05

    فیملی رجسٹریشن سرٹیفکیٹ

    Family Registration Certificate

A NADRA record listing family members. Many parts are already in English, so we translate only the Urdu wording and check every name against your CNIC or passport.

  • 06

    پیدائش کا اندراج

    Birth Registration Entry

Older Union Council birth entries are often handwritten. We copy each name, date and place carefully, and clearly mark any word that cannot be read.

  • 07

    مختار نامہ

    Power Of Attorney

Used to let a relative manage land, money or a court matter in Pakistan. Powers, limits and property details are translated clause by clause for UK solicitors.

  • 08

    آڈیو ریکارڈنگ

    Audio Recording

Voice notes and calls are typed out in Urdu first, then translated. Each speaker and time mark is shown, and a signed certificate is added on request.

  • 09

    فرد ملکیت

    Land Ownership Record

Fard and jamabandi extracts show who holds farmland in Pakistan. Solicitors use them for inheritance and gifts, so khasra numbers, owners and shares are copied exactly.

اردوWords Explained

Certified Urdu Translator Glossary For Marriage And Family Terms

اردوWhere It Was Issued

Professional Urdu Translation From Pakistan, Azad Kashmir And India

Urdu records differ by place, office and even handwriting. Our Pakistani document translation follows the wording of the office that issued yours. We also note other languages that appear, so nothing is quietly skipped.

  • 01

    Pakistan

Most of our Urdu work comes from Pakistan. Many NADRA and court forms mix English and Urdu. We translate the Urdu parts, keep the English as printed, and join them into one clear copy.

  • 02

    Azad Jammu And Kashmir

Many UK families have roots in Mirpur and nearby districts. Records there use the same Urdu forms, with local Union Council and court names that we write out in full.

  • 03

    India

Some families hold Urdu records from India, such as a Nikahnama from a local qazi. Office names differ from Pakistan, so we keep the original name beside the English.

  • 04

Nastaliq, Hijri Dates And Mixed Speech

Urdu runs right to left in flowing Nastaliq script. Some records show Hijri dates, and recordings may switch into Punjabi. We translate it all and flag anything unclear.

Letters For Family In Pakistan: English Papers Rendered In Urdu

  • EN اردو

    Letters For Parents And Grandparents

Court, school or council letters can worry relatives who read little English. We put them into simple Urdu, so everyone in the family understands what is being asked.

  • EN اردو

    Family Matters Back Home

اردوYour Questions

Questions Families Ask Before Ordering From Our Urdu Team

Families often ask us the same gentle questions before they order. Here are honest answers. If you need Urdu audio translation or something unusual, send a message and we will explain your options.

Will You Translate Every Box On My Nikahnama, Even The Empty Ones?
Yes. Every box is translated in order, and empty or crossed-out boxes are marked as such. UK caseworkers like to see the whole form, so nothing is left out.
My Name Is Spelled Differently On My Urdu Records And My Passport. Which One Goes In The English?
Urdu names can be written in English in several ways, such as Muhammad or Mohammed. We use the spelling from your passport and add a translator's note if needed. This keeps every record clearly linked to you.
What If My Urdu Record Shows A Hijri Date?
The Hijri date stays exactly as the record writes it. Where it can be worked out, we add the matching Gregorian date in a note. Most Pakistani Nikahnamas already use Gregorian dates.
Do You Translate The Back Of Pakistani Stamp Paper?
Yes. The back often shows the stamp vendor's name, serial number and the buyer's details. A solicitor may check these, so we include them in the same certified copy.
My Stamp Paper Agreement Is Needed By Two O'Clock Today. Is That Realistic?
It can be, for one or two typed pages. Upload now, state the exact time, and we confirm before payment whether a same-day finish works. If it cannot be done in time, you hear that straight away.
Does My Pakistani Record Need An Apostille Before Translation?
A certified translation is usually enough on its own, and most UK offices will not ask for an apostille as well. Pakistan has issued apostilles through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2023. If your record already has an apostille or attestation stamp, we translate that too.
My Urdu Recording Also Has Punjabi In It. Will Those Parts Be Covered?
Yes. Many family recordings switch between Urdu, Punjabi and English. We mark where the language changes and translate every part into English.
